Planning & Development is a department within Operational Services that also includes Public Works & Utilities, and Bylaw Enforcement.

The Planning & Development Department manages growth and development of the town. The department reviews bylaws, subdivisions and development applications, and ensures compliance with the Municipal Development Plan, Area Structure Plans, and the Town’s Land Use Bylaw.
